In accordance to the draft guidelines issued by Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA), constituted under the Statutory Authority established under Section 3 of PWRDA Act (2), 2020, commercial and industrial users of groundwater, including institutions, construction and infrastructure projects withdrawing ground water require ad interim permission / prior permission to draw ground water from the competent authorities.
